Dahua manufactures across the full security stack — cameras, access control, intercom, fire detection and the cloud management that ties them together. For us the value is coverage: a mine, an estate or an office park can be specified end to end from one range, which means fewer integration problems on site and one place to go when something needs support. We aggregate it into ASOP through published open APIs, so it reports alongside whatever else is already installed.
Dahua in one paragraph.
What we deploy.
IP Camera Estates
The breadth is the point: thermal, panoramic, active deterrence and conventional units from one range, so a whole site is specified coherently instead of assembled from parts that do not talk to each other. Running at Kleinfontein today.
Video Intercom and Visitor Management
Who is at the gate, who let them in, and when did they leave. Appointments and walk-ins handled the same way, with a record attached to footage rather than a name in a book.

Access, Speed Gates and Elevator Control
Facial and card authentication at swing barriers and speed gates, with anti-spoofing so a photograph on a phone will not open anything, and anti-tailgating so one authorisation admits one person. Extends into the building itself — lifts that only take someone to the floors they are entitled to reach. Replaces the paper register nobody can search.
Thermal Fire Prevention
Thermal cameras watching for temperature anomalies rather than flame — a bearing running hot, a conveyor overheating, a stack starting to self-heat. Warning comes before ignition, with light and siren on the spot, and footage afterwards to establish what actually caused it.
Fire Alarm Systems
Detection panels and devices from the same manufacturer as the cameras and access control, which makes integrating life safety with the rest of the site considerably less painful.
AcuPick Footage Retrieval
Finding the two minutes that matter across a hundred-camera estate is usually the real problem, not the recording. AcuPick searches on what was seen — a person, a vehicle, an attribute — and returns it in seconds instead of an afternoon of scrubbing timelines.
DoLynk Cloud Management
Device health, connectivity and configuration across a deployed estate, aggregated into ASOP so it surfaces alongside everything else rather than in a separate console.
AI Perimeter Protection with Active Deterrence
Cameras that do not just record the intrusion but interrupt it — detecting a person crossing a line, then triggering light, siren and two-way audio on the spot. On a site where a response vehicle is twenty minutes away, the deterrent that fires immediately is the one that matters.
Where Dahua fits.
Dahua and Axis carry most of our camera and building-systems work. Dahua tends to win where the requirement is broad — a full estate covering cameras, intercom, access, lifts and fire from one manufacturer — and where budget has to stretch across a lot of positions without dropping to equipment our engineers would not put their name to. On the Kleinfontein deployment it runs across thermal, panoramic, active-deterrence and conventional units feeding a single control room. Two things they do particularly well. Their intrusion analytics are tuned to ignore what actually causes false alarms on a South African site — leaves, animals, changing light, rain — and their retrieval tooling means an incident can be found and exported while the client is still on the phone. Their perimeter line is also worth singling out: thermal units that ignore shrubs, rain, fog and small animals, paired with speakers and strobes so a detection produces an immediate response rather than a recording nobody watches until Monday. That recording still matters, though — clear footage of an intrusion is what turns a loss into a supportable insurance claim, which is an argument we find lands with finance directors more reliably than any technical one. The wider Dahua platform also extends into smart building and AIoT territory for residential communities, industrial parks and commercial complexes. We are brand-led rather than brand-locked: where a different manufacturer suits a position better, we will tell you so.
