Wide-area, not a single line
Ground surveillance radar scans an area continuously and tracks multiple targets at once, covering ground that would need a long line of sensors to replicate.
Radar detects, camera confirms
Detected targets automatically cue a PTZ camera onto the coordinates. Where radar and camera sit in one device, both must agree before an alarm is raised — the most effective answer to a system that has been crying wolf.
Works when cameras cannot
Radar is largely unaffected by darkness, fog, dust and rain, which makes it the reliable layer on sites where weather regularly degrades optical detection.

Large open perimeters, and not much else
Radar belongs on mine boundaries, industrial sites, farms and reserves — particularly where the alternative is many kilometres of fence-mounted detection nobody will maintain. It pairs with thermal for identification and feeds straight into offsite monitoring.
